1. R.I.P Francesco Cominelli.
Several fashion publications have had the heavy task of reporting that Vogue Hommes International staffer Francesco Cominelli was found dead in his apartment yesterday. From Paris to New York and all around the world, members of the fashion industry have expressed their great sadness at his loss.
Cominelli had been fashion editor of the Paris-based international men’s magazine since 2009. He was a graduate of the photography school at the prestigious European Institute of Design in Milan, after which he spent a year in New York City interning for V Magazine. Another year interning at Vogue Hommes International in Paris followed. After a brief stint working on his own menswear line in Italy, Cominelli returned to Paris to work as a stylist for the magazine.
Cominelli was beloved not only for his personality, but also for his style, and the presence of his photos on style blogs of all stripes is a testament to that.
Thoughts to his family, friends and anyone else mourning the loss of Cominelli’s life, style and talent.
